Thanks Giving Meal – 2006

Guest for this year included; My mother. ChungHoon’s family – Grace, Noah, Mercy and Joy. Bryan Baik’s family – Lili, Dosan, Lidia and Sam.
Mother did most of Korean dishes.
Huey did the traditional dishes along with some other variations of them.
Happi baked the desert section along with the help of Marie (I think her last name was Calendar).
Huey’s Dishes
Of course, what kind of Thanks Giving Meal would it be without turkey and ham.?
Can’t eat turkey with out the Cranberry sauce! Not one, but two different kinds of them.
Got to have some veggies.
Stuffing made Aaron’s Corn Bread… this was great.
Yam, actually the Sweet Potato with pecan and marshmallow topping along with lots of brown sugar.
Mashed potato and oops!, I forgot to take the picture of the gravy.
Green peas sautéed in tomato juice along with mushroom.
Aaron baked a very same “Corn Bread” night before and Huey copied it.
Mother’s Korean section
Some sort of fish and the greens were of course grown in her back yard as well.
Fried shrimps and squids
Have no idea what this dish is called. All I know is that, all these vegetable was grown in her back yard.
Again, no name for this dish. Some sort of variation of KIMCHEE

Happi’s Cheese Cake
Made with an egg from our back yard.
Pecan pie made by Marie
Apple and Pumpkin pie made by Marie. We simply paid her some money to get above 3 pies.
